Tribeca Loft

This renovation of a landmarked industrial loft in Tribeca reimagines the space to create a bright and functional home for a young family of five. Focused on maximizing flexibility, the enlarged open spaces allow for shared activities while accommodating the evolving needs of the family over time.

A spacious, open-plan living area, takes advantage of the large west-facing windows, inviting abundant natural light into the deep floorplate, and fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. Existing dropped ceilings were removed throughout the home, exposing the historic industrial character of the space and making it feel more spacious.

Complementing the layout, a carefully selected material palette balances simplicity and durability with warmth. Easy to maintain, bright white finishes are combined with warm woods and a series of bursts of color in yellow, teal, and terracotta. This thoughtful approach ensures that the loft remains both timeless and adaptable, an elegant and welcoming environment, serving the family's needs as they grow.
